WildSide Dog Walking - Dog walking in Oxfordshire

Hello!

My name is Lorna and I, alongside my beautiful Labrador, Holly, run WildSide Dog Walking & Pet Services.

WildSide was a long time in the making (in my head) but came to fruition in January 2016 and I haven’t looked back since. I am fully insured and DBS checked.

I have a lifetime of experience of owning various pets including cats, rabbits and chinchillas and have never really been without a dog from a very young age. I currently share my life and home with Holly, JD my dwarf rabbit and my daughter recently acquired kitten called Bucky.

I am lucky enough to have an array of different country and river walks within my and surrounding areas. Enrichment and play is also tailored into the walks which is important for the dogs’ wellbeing. I have a lovely bunch of dogs who I am fortunate enough to walk, all with various needs and requirements.

If you think I am what you are looking for please do not hesitate to contact me either by phone, text, the contact form below or my Facebook page. We can have a friendly, informal chat to discuss yours and your pets’ requirements. If you then want to take things a little further we can then arrange a meet and greet. Please take a peek at my testimonials below and the reviews on my Facebook page to see what other owners have to say.

Testimonials

The professional service offered by Lorna at WildSide Dog Walking is 1st class! The time and patience invested in her relationship with Seamus gives me complete peace of mind and the enthusiastic greeting that Seamus gives Lorna every time says it all. He feels safe, cared for and extremely happy in her company.

My partner and I moved to Kidlington earlier this year and have been customers of WildSide Dog Walking since early March. Lorna clearly loves both animals and her job, and is extremely professional. She is fantastic with our dog Lola (six year-old female golden retriever). In fact, we have noticed that Lola has become increasingly confident with new places and other dogs since Lorna started walking her, which shows the positive impact she has had. It is wonderful being able to see so many nice photographs and videos on Facebook - almost as good as being on the walk yourself! We wholeheartedly recommend WildSide Dog Walking.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found Lorna and WildSide Dog Walking. She is amazing. Our two rescue Staffies adore her and I feel totally relaxed leaving them in her care (even though I am a totally over protective doggy mummy!)

Lorna is always so reliable and so kind. She treats each dog individually and knows exactly what they need. She tailors the walks to suit the dogs and their owners. Our gorgeous Mr Bumble had previously been very badly treated and was terrified of the outside world.  We have had to work very hard and very patiently to even get him out of the front door.  Lorna has been wonderful with him and gives him lots of cuddles and reassurance when he needs it and ensures he is not frightened or overwhelmed.  Both of our boys look forward to her visits and her walks and are totally over excited when she arrives!

Meeting Lorna has meant we can now leave our boys with total confidence that they are in very capable and very safe hands.  We cannot thank her enough. On a personal level Lorna is always cheerful and easy to talk to and she puts herself out to help.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much Lorna.

My golden Retriever Maggie, absolutely loves staying with Lorna, and because I know she is treated so very well I do not spend my time worrying if she is OK.

This also goes not only for staying over, but for the times I can not walk Maggie due to work conmmitments, I know she will be well exercised, have great fun, and will be safe.

It is absolutely great having somebody you trust emphatically with your loved one, allowing you to plan things they cannot be part of with peace of mind.

I can highly recommend Lorna. My dog Tilly is a rescue and trusts very few humans. Next to me, Lorna is by far her favourite!

She took the time to get to know her and has shown great patience with Tilly, who now loves it when Lorna visits as she knows it means fun!

Thank you Lorna for helping Tilly trust and taking her on some fantastic walks.

I can highly recommend Lorna and Wildside Dog Walking. Monty, my black lab, is very lucky to have such a dedicated dog walker in Lorna. She is an extremely dedicated and trustworthy person and I love nothing better to think that my dog is out have wonderful walks (and swims!) whilst I am unable to take him myself. Monty knows the days Lorna will appear and can't wait for that key in the door!

Highly recommend, very good service.

We can highly recommend Lorna and WildSide dog walking. Lorna offers a very professional, reliable service. She has got to know our extremely nervous Lab Maisie very well, taking the time to build Maisie’s confidence. Maisie really enjoys her walks with Lorna and her other four legged friends and most of all the tummy rubs at the end of walks.

Makes it so much easier knowing that Maisie is loved and well looked after whilst we are at work.Thank you for being so patient and kind to Maisie.
